Some examples of the lighting issues I'm talking about...

In these pictures, there is PLENTY of lighting and the show ring/arena is VERY bright. (I guess because of my distance, I get very dark pictures. I've tried turning off the flash, which helps the darkness of the pictures, but they are very blurry since I'm shooting moving objects.)
















In these pictures, we're in a pavilion where there is a TON of light coming in from the sides of the building.







This is my #1 priority when searching for a new camera. I'm sure there are some settings in my old camera that could've helped with this, but since it's lost, there no sense in trying to figure it out now.
