Going to Long Island tomorrow to buy this ...
 Though not looking forward to the 5-6hr drive, one-way.       Considered getting this mint 1967 Shelby Cobra Replica for only $20K    Also this 1970 Mustang Mach 1 but they wanted insane money - more than the Cobra above!

I'm going to leave it a plain GT500 (no badges) but may convert the looks to the KR with badges. Haven't decided yet. Real Shelby owners might be mad at me for being a poser!
 BTW ... no Eleanor for me thank you.  Might go only one color but all the stock Shelby color combos look great to me. I love this blue   This scheme is almost exactly what I'm considering. The silver is like a hyper silver. Check out the video. Love how the silver glows and even the grabber blue too. Damn, all 3 of those are beautiful cars.... Looks like you have a new project/labor of love! And the 68 fastback will be a fun car to work on as long as you have the time to put towards it. What engine is in it now? 289?

Cool deal, I'm gonna try my hands at body and paint with my old E36 I'm getting back. I have very little experience but enough knowledge to feel comfortable with it. Besides, most of the dented panels are bolt on anyways.
