Just thought I'd share my experience as an FYI...

I've ordered lots from Newegg before, but I never noticed them doing this.

Anyway, I ordered a few things from them as Christmas gifts for my family, one of which was for my wife. The boxes came UPS today, and my wife signed for them.

Newegg didn't re-package anything, all three items were shipped in their RETAIL boxes, with shipping labels stuck on the outside. So, my wife already knows one of the items she's getting.

Some things I can see getting it that way, but this particular item was a Cannon DSLR zoom lens for her camera. Not exactly the kind of item you want just shipped loose.
