Nope. At least he had enough class and maturity not to.

Yeah, I think in the video they said...banks. What I don't think they ever said were *all* central banks are privately owned. Just because someone uses the plural...doesn't mean *all*...just more than one?! Again, I've not watched the video a second time to vet this out. But really, let's just give it a rest...for everyone's sanity I just thought it was a cool interview with Aaron Russo. I would've liked to talk to him personally about his experiences. I'm sure he had a ton of stories to tell.

So, now suddenly you have respect for Eric? You guys have been busting on him like he's a lunatic. Hence the reason why I said it's just another post with ad hominems...a personal attack (someone compared to another nut job from a former thread...and doesn't know when to give it a rest. I'm well aware of your inference/judgement(s) while comparing me to Eric. Am I wrong in my assumption that Eric isn't thought of too highly in this forum due to his past posting(s)? I've yet to search his posts...so, I don't know. As for the "dirt road of disinformation comment"...please enlighten me and anyone else with what you use for your information. As far as recognizing you as being "better" ...that's your delusion...not mine. It was written with a touch of respect...if you have in fact served our country in the military.

Like I've not been personally attacked? I'll have a chance to listen this evening. But, let's agree that you're correct and he made the flaw of calling all central banks private. Does it change anything concerning the Federal Reserve in my country? I don't think it does. So, do we throw out everything he says due to a mistake? We're human...we make mistakes. Maybe he was under the impression that all CB's are/were private? Misguided at best. I don't think he was attempting to intentionally deceive?! I guess we'll never know since he's dead and can't get clarification.

It always helps to look at motivations. Look at what Russo describes as his awakening. He lost an IRS judgement over a tax return. That was when he decided that there is a "them" that is running everything, pulling all the strings, stomping on the little guy. He felt powerless, and wanted someone to blame for those feelings.

Tragedy and loss are things that will motivate people to change their ways. The man was also dealing with cancer. You can't say you know where his heart was during the latter years of his life. How much does money mean...when it can't save your life? While I do see your point, I'm not buying your conclusion. His issue was here in the United States. He learned that the Federal Reserve is privately run...and that tax collection is paid ultimately to the Federal Reserve. Look up "Grace Commission". It's interesting when people find out that there is NO LAW in the USA for sovereign citizens to pay taxes on their income. Don't believe me???...look up Joe Banister. Quite a story if you've never heard it. Anyway, the interview doesn't negate the fact that we're dealing with this issue of a privately run central bank here in the USA. The video should've been corrected prior to being released. But if I'm not mistaken, I think he died very soon afterwards?
