Why do Americans support this man?

Obama's laundry list.

-Has 20+ year relationship with racist close friend and spiritual advisor Rev. Wright and only disassociates himself from the reverend after he is viewed poorly by the media. Obama obviously is in-line with the reverend's views.

-Pockets around $100k from Fannie Mae.

-Has worked with or for Acorn, who is known for voter fraud issues over the past 10-20 years.

-Has an advisor who milked Fannie Mae dry. Last report I saw said $100 million.

-Lied about his relationship with terrorist Bill Ayers. However, small it was.

-Doesn't even know how many states there are in the U.S. (said he visited 57 states and had one to go)

-Removed all (3 or 4) of the American flags from the exterior of his personal 757 and replaced with his "O" symbol.

-His wife Michelle Obama is on record saying “People in this country are ready for change and hungry for a different kind of politics and … for the first time in my adult life I am proud of my country because it feels like hope is finally making a comeback.” Don't you think a lot has happened over her lifetime to be proud of? As I read somewhere, what about matters like the victory in the Cold War; how about only things that have made liberals proud — all the accomplishments of inclusion? How about the passage of the Civil Rights Act of 1991? Or Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s elevation to the Supreme Court?

-Is on video without his hand on his heart while the National Anthem is playing.

-Wants to spread the wealth around.

-His Vice Presidential running mate Biden says the following; "Mark my words. It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy. The world is looking," Biden said. "Watch, we're gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy." That just goes to show that nobody views Obama as capable of handeling a situation like this. Seriously, why would his own running mate bring this up before the election?

-Throw in the fact that he has very little actual political experience.

If this was McCains laundry list he would be getting buried in the media everyday. Why are people so quick to overlook all of this for Obama and why are so many people supporting this man?

Well, if you think people actually believe all of that list, then I guess it speaks volumes to what they think of McCain.

You should go to factcheck.org and see just how many of the items on that list are fallacies. You may be surprised.

JCL, there are website that will have different opinions on everything. Which of the above statements do you not personally agree with?

His relationship with the racist Rev?
His involvement with Acorn?
Acorn's involvement in registering 2 year old and dead people to vote?
Him getting a ton of money from Fannie Mae?
Franklin Raines getting million and millions of dollars from Fannie Mae and his relationship with Obama?
Him not putting his hand over his heart for the National Anthem?
Him stated he had visited 57 states and still had one to go?
Michelle Obama's statement?
Bidden's statement?
His lack of experience?
Him removing the flags from his 757?

JCL, these things are very true. Spend some time researching them on more than one website. The people who don't believe these things to be true are the ones in the dark. People need to wake up.

People will believe whatever they want to believe.
What is obvious is that some will rather live blissfully in their parallel universe filled with ignorance, and stupidity.

I thought you liked Obama? Sounds like a perfect depiction of his campaign.

Well, I do go to more than one website, thank you. I try not to get my news from email distribution lists. I think that independent fact-checking sites are a good resource. I also like non-commercial news outlets. If you don't like the one I listed, there are lots of others.

I can recall reading about most of those on line, from more than one source, and seeing them debunked. I don't think it is worth recounting them all here, but we can if you like. People are going to believe what they want to believe.

Here are a few to get you started:

http://www.factcheck.org/elections-2...cusations.html It talks about how the ACORN fraud is paycheck fraud by ACORN workers, not voter fraud.

They both got money from Freddie and Fannie. That is how those organizations work. Sad.

Raines was found to not be an advisor to Obama's campaign. "According to yet another false e-mail making the rounds on the Internet, Franklin Raines and J. Timothy Howard are chief "economic" and "finance" advisers to the presidential campaign of Sen. Barack Obama. Not true. Neither man works for the Obama campaign, either now or in the past. The e-mail is technically accurate when it says Obama selected Jim Johnson to head his vice presidential search committee, but it fails to mention that Johnson lasted only a week in that unpaid position"

Good article on factcheck about Michelle Obama and being pround of being an American. It has been twisted beyond recognition on the internet.
Another article is available about the fact that when the plane was repainted the flags were moved to the fuselage instead of the tail. But if you want to call that 'removing the flags' I guess it is technically true. Or, you could phrase it as "Obama painted more flags on his plane" Both are true. Email soundbytes can't hope to present a balanced view.

Have a great day.

Disagree. Voter Registration fraud, is voter fraud IMO. While I don't believe it would really effect the outcome of an election, a persons ties to such a overtly corrupt organization should be of merit.
