Edit: Too funny. I just read some article about his trip. He is the fisrt sitting U.S. President in 90 years to win this award. In all honesty, has there not been a president in the last century that had done enough with their time in offce to deserve this award within a 4 year span, but Obama has in less than one year??? Obama has almost literally done nothing except bail out two automakers, get a dog, have a beer with a racist and a cop, put his foot in his mouth on a late night talk show, etc. Add in his historical falling approval rating and it becomes even more strange. Also seems funny to me that he is there to receive this award less than two weeks after he just sent 30,000 more troops into a war he didn't agree with. I hear he also pissed off everyone in Norway because he skipped the second day of the festivities...Hope they are happy with themselves.
