Chili, don't forget that the bipartisian vote on this was AGAINST it. To me this shows that the whole thing was written by the far left fringe(which it was).

Left or right, belief in any of these Washingtonians is lunacy.
I do not believe this bill is the best American can do. I do not believe the let's go slow, start all over, the sky will fall if this passes, is in any way close to the truth. $100 billion per year isn't really that much. Bring all the troops home and that will pay for healthcare. I do believe this will lower prices in hospitals. How? Right now the guy in the room next to mine has no insurance. I do. The hospital charges us both $900 per night for the room. Why? They know one of us CAN NOT pay the bill. It makes sense that if we were both covered, they could charge us each $450 because they know they will get paid. Last edited by Viperfreak2; 03-22-2010 at 01:55 PM. |

Krimson, Chili I can understand but you're smarter than this. I'll chalk this instance up to an extuberance of emotion.
Chili...That means he could not help himself. |

You don't see you're the mirror image of those you berate? Do you really think for a second your opinion reflects that of the average American?
Come on...Inquiring minds want to know. |

The average American has no clue what's in the Bill.
They only react to what's being said by those who yell the loudest or those who are in a position to make their view heard the most. What surprises me most is how lies were trumpeted to the public as the most sincerest of truth. The reality is that this bill like all others will be changed as time goes on and all the arguments in the here and now won't change a thing. Am I for the health care for everyone concept? Who wouldn't be? The basic tenants have long been issues that all but a few have been in agreement with. The sticking point with many seems to be the financial part and I personally can appreciate the concern. It's almost the everybody want's to go to heaven but nobody want's to die syndrome. Nothing's free in this world regardless of how much we would all like to avoid the cost so in reality it's a pay me now or pay me later issue. It cannot be avoided. So I wish all of you well regarding your health. Take care of yourself and for God's sake stop fretting about the health care issue. If you keep letting this stuff get to you some of you will be headed to the hospital......

I was not celebrating bipartisanship. I was being facetious in my response to GoVols who said that the only bipartianship on this bill was in its opposition. I was merely pointing out that the bill, although not one republican voted for it, contianed 160 (I said 200 earlier) amendments by the Republicans.
