I think Kevin is working in conjunction with Crevier's in finalizing a venue and the dates. Just give him a little time, he will come through for us and make it a great event!

ditto.. hold your horses (no pun intended especially for AutoXer). Nobody wants to have a meet when is 115-120 degrees. October will be a better timeframe.

Just to let everyone know, I'm still working on things. I went down to the venue last week to check it out, and to check on some horses. A co-worker/my "in" at the place has a couple of horses he plays polo with. I've actually ridden both with polo mallet in hand. Nuts.! No riding this time we actually sat in the stables and drank Jack and smoked. Okay, I only did one of those things.

I'm going to get some dates this week or next. Keep in mind that we're trying to squeak in between events that actually pay whereas we depend on the kindness of strangers.

For those who are late to the thread and have not read through it all, the meet is going to be in the Palm Springs area. It is going to be sponsored by Crevier BMW and with their involvement, will be a first class event. It will be worth the wait.
