Oil wont last forever and it takes massive and continuous new floods to wake up the Europeans about the damage of global warming.

Yes it’s real folks, and it’s right in front of us now.

Europe will require zero emissions for all their new vehicles starting 2035.

GM announced they will do the same in roughly the same time line.

Good thing our old gas powered cars are still exempt from the zero emissions vehicle mandate.

Wrong. Rare earth minerals to produce automotive electric batteries will exhaust before fossil fuels and remain ever more expensive as the supply becomes less efficient to mine. The power grid is not being upgraded or prepared for when government regulations force new electric vehicle purchases - call me a conspiracy theorist but I believe that's on purpose so they can blame the blackouts on global warming somehow.
Existing used ICE vehicles will be driven up in value and there will be an enormous secondary market supporting and keeping existing ICE vehicles on the road due to their inherent reliability, low cost, and range.

New electric vehicles will become so complex and automated and have built-in kill switches that keep them from lasting very long after the warranty period ends, mechanically totaling the vehicle if the battery pack wears out or if the center screen system breaks a week after warranty.

The quote recent 'European floods' was a one in 100 year weather event. It's nothing at all to do with warming of the earth. Every 100 years they get a big rainfall like this. 100 years ago people driving BMW's didn't cause the rain fall either.

If we run out of gasoline, there's already renewable plant based alcohol fuels.

If diesel runs out, plant based oils again. Farming is the solution of the future, vertically integrated mega automated farming complexes where the growing and processing is completed in the same nearby area.

Virus doesn’t care about party affiliations.

I dont think these members have strayed away from CDC guidelines. They’ve all been fully vaccinated.

I think this article proves the importance of vaccination and it further demonstrates the usefulness of social distancing and masks even when you’ve been fully vaccinated.

There is something called LIFE and FREEDOM, so if the "vaccine" is having lots of breakthroughs (official term) does anyone actually believe that we have to wear masks and stay 6' apart forever?

Tough shit if you want to visit the folks before or while they're dying, go to the movies, restaurants, parks, schools.

Besides businesses going away forever and people becoming destitute people seem to have forgotten "2 weeks to flatten the curve" so that HOSPITALS don't get overwhelmed NOT to keep everyone in perpetual lockdown.

People need to shove a SPINE up their ass and take the precautions we take for the flu...

I'm certainly in agreement with that. As originally, cv19 is being highly politicized and having a democratic POTUS is not going to be a cure to the virus anymore than a republican one.

The most important thing to do is get vaccinated and try not to be super out of shape so your body's defenses aren't weak. The next important thing to do is to not be an a$$hole because others choose not to get vaccinated. That's their choice, if they want to take that calculated (or uncalculated risk) so be it. If more people die... Then that's life, we can't save everyone, and frankly with the regulation that would be required to do that, I wouldn't want to try to save everyone.

^That position has changed since the release of the vaccines. Before it was more important to regulate (lockdowns, etc) as individuals didn't have a way to protect themselves. Those who lost their lives before a choice was available is, and will always be, sad.

I agree with you. I also agree with Bill Maher, the comedian and HBO host of his show “Real Time with Bill Maher” where he was incredulous that now in America, we have to bribe people to get vaccinated against COVID-19.
In his most recent show's introductory monologue, Maher said: “They’re giving away college scholarships, free beer and baseball tickets. California is giving away $160 million in cash and prizes. We’re at the Bob Barker phase of the pandemic…All over the world people are dying to get this vaccine but here they got to give you a jet ski first, then maybe they will consider getting vaccinated”.

Hi AVB,

I’m worried about the onslaught of new voter suppression laws showing up in many republican led state legislatures, and the 83 percent of new Covid cases caused by the Delta variant.

97% of the new covid cases are among the unvaccinated population.

It’s almost like we are living in two societies. One where the population understands the need to vaccinate against the covid virus, another refusing to do so, for whatever reason.

The end result is our country continues to spread this horrible new disease and allowing new variants of the virus to take root and spread.

I’m putting on my mask again after enjoying a brief few weeks of respite from the fear of covid infection. Yes I’ve been fully vaccinated since April. But the fear of the super contagious delta variant has me putting on the mask again.

When will this ever end? Will this country ever realize everyone needs to get on board so we can execute a singular and effective strategy against the virus?

I fear we could have ended this plaque but fails do so at the end.

Point out the "voter suppression" laws and be specific, especially Jim Crow 2.0 that many like to quote...

Don't get your talking points from dumbasses on tv who have an agenda, do your own research and look at things with an unbiased eye and if you do that I believe you will understand why there is a great divide in our country. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but not their own facts and since most people just parrot what they hear it becomes an echo chamber.

Remember that no one wants this division to keep growing, because if it does...
There will come a time where the only way to settle things is to go around killing fuckers and once that starts it won't just be political opponents it will also be a class and a race war not to mention a chance to go smoke that fucker they have a grudge against.

Yet people seem to forget that if you make people's lives suck enough and accuse them of being racist, classist, etc. that pretty soon many will just say fuck it, spit on their hands and start slitting throats, since they're being vilified for it anyway and losing their livelihoods solely on some perceived grievance.

I don't want a civil war, because I've seen combat in every single fucking action from Panama through Afghanistan and Iraq, so I hope that people stop throwing shit just to support a "party" instead of supporting the Nation.

You are way out of line here.

My interest, along with most of us here, is to NOT see divides, conflicts, within our country.

Yet it's happening in front of our eyes.

The pandemic is not going to stop by itself. I believe it takes the will and effort of everyone in this country to put it away.

Tom Brady said as much when he was invited into the White House. And I don't believe he's democrat.

Do you not remember saying the "Voter Suppression Laws" from REPUBLICAN States?
You started your post saying that ....

1. There are voter suppression laws being implemented.

2. These laws are Republican.

Both of your false statements are designed to divide Americans between Democrat/Republican and Black/White.

You didn't answer about "those" laws NOT specifically and damn sure not generically.

So "Pot" if you want me to be a kettle you probably ought to check your color first...

As for covid19 if you're even a little bit open minded you will see that is over 98/99% of infected people recover and that vaccine side effects resulting in death officially reported are at 9,000 people in the US.

Most people's comments about covid19 vaccination is some variation on....

"I got vaccinated so I'm safe but these unvaccinated people put (us/others) at risk!!! or keeps us from getting herd immunity"

If you're vaccinated you should be 92-95% bulletproof so all the disdain and comments about unvaccinated is done to divide people into two camps.

Texas is a republican state, so is Florida. Both state governments are pushing for voter suppression laws. Does that not back up what I referenced?

How is that a false statement?

I'm going to believe what I choose to believe. You do the same. But don't think you can label me anything you feel like. I certainly didn't put a label behind your back.

Keep putting label on people, you're doing a great job uniting this country.

"Most people's comments..." According to whom?

Do you have any data to back up that claim?

And since when is concern for the well being of this country means "distain" for the unvaccinated?

Let's start slowly....

As I originally asked you.

What about these laws are SPECIFICALLY suppressing voters?
So far you refuse to answer.

The comments on tv and the web to include this site have most vaccinated people making some or both variations of the examples I used not to mention pushing for the vaccine to be mandatory or at least rules changed to make it so unvaccinated people couldn't shop, work and have some sort of "papers" showing proof of vaccination AKA medical data violating HIPAA.
