I was under the impression that it would reset...

I was under the impression that it would reset when I changed the battery.....wrong? OR, would it be better to do it again?

Thanx. But I already did the glove compartment fuze thing with a multimeter....no luck. All said fine. I hope it isn't a failure in part of the computer.

I think I had the exact same problem as...

I think I had the exact same problem as referenced by "diyanich". The battery died within 4 hours of a jump. I replaced the battery and then the final stage resistor and never looked back...

I have an 2001 X-5, 3.0 that has a problem with the control unit for the wipers. It works on the continuous mode; it works on the click mode for one swipe but does not work in the variable time...

There are two sensors on the vehicle for the brakes....one for the front left brake pads and one for the right rear. You will have to check each one to determine which.
