My new M50d was delivered to the US shipping dock...

My new M50d was delivered to the US shipping dock on the 26th Jan 2015 bound for Australia, it has sat there for 46 days before being loaded onto a ship on the 14th March 2015.

Have informed BMW...

It to exposed to the elements has it hangs lower than the exhaust muffler, slow to attached tow ball arm, no pin for quick connection of a snatch-em strap, low towing capacity.

I have been told Jan 2015 for the V8 X5M, but all the rage here for the last few years is now the M50d, special with the torque vectoring & anti roll suspension etc that now comes on the new F15...

Well I bit the bullet and orders my new M50d, Jan 2015 production, will be sorry to see my current E70 M50d go, been a very reliable car. My old M50d will make someone a happy owner who ever buys it...

My X5M 50d has just clocked over 5,000klm and with 70% City & 30% Country driving I am getting 9.3ltr/100klm, hoping it will get down to around 8.9ltr once it gets run-in.

If you buy the X5M 50d, then chip it you get well over 850nm of torque, that would put it below 5 sec to 60kph, at 746nm standard it does 5.4 sec.
