The "Red T-Handle" is needed to put the car into neutral if the battery is dead....don't lose that one! The Hex wrench is for closing the sunroof if the batteries are dead or electronics malfunction.

Glad I'm not the only one who can hear this! Was a bit nervous at first, but with the turbos right behind the firewall I figured some sound would be heard...especially at low speed with radio off.

OK found the reason for the smoke coming from under the engine bay. Look's like plastic enbrittalment and probably in-proper installation of a weather strip after having the car in for some recall...

I also noticed that when I press the rear hatch button near the gearshift...I could hear clicking from around the the glove box, this sounds like a relay. Is this where the GM-3 board is located?
