My '04 X5 6-speed 3.0 just hit 102K. So far I replaced the water pump, belts, front axle(torn boots), and oil separator/hoses, and valve cover. Everything else seems to be working well.

Thanks for the heads up Ricky, i'll let them know. I'm gonna have to take the long way to work from now, because it's about 15 mins away. That's what probably caused this issue.
