Music hard drive

The music hard drive has stopped working on my 2012 X5d, it just says music loading. The radio, CD player, USB all work fine. Anyone any ideas, is there a way to reboot it? I can't find information...

Yes its OK to move the TB plate, you need to do that to really clean it. I applied a small amount of lubricant to the plate pivot points after cleaning.

Given that the intake manifold was not coming off...

Given that the intake manifold was not coming off there was no need, or desire, to replace all 6 glow plugs. After replacing the module the error code disappeared. Hence, the fault was in the module...

I dropped one of the bloody nuts from the controller and spent ages trying to find it :)

My temps are only getting in the low 70s. Everything I've read points to around 88 deg C.

So, rather than losing my $500 insurance deductible I purchased new glass on ebay; this only cost $200.
Replacing the glass was super easy and only required removing 2 gaiters and 6 small screws....

My window stopped working and the FRM was at fault. It was replaced under extended warranty (which I wasn't aware of at the time). Mines a 12 X5d.

I just had my driveshaft recall completed yesterday at BMW Seattle. Mine is a 2012 35d.
I got an X3 as a loaner car and the steering was super light (electric) and it was crap.....really horrible.

2012 X5d with 67k on the clock.

Like many people, after the service engine light came on I pulled the p004BAC fault code using Carly. It stated it was the reducing agent active tank level sensor....

You have to remove the door cards to get those pieces of. From memory, the dash parts just pull out, be gentle though. The piece on the glove box does not come off.
