broken bolt
hi,
had the same problem, but did not worry about it, after repaired
Module at place in Moskau (Idaho) put back in and worked fine for Years after
not replacing bolt.

Yes you have to cut out Bumper also, its clearly marked from the back , just go along the lines.

my installation
I did mine just recent, I dismounted the Bumper and the Black insert with the two reflectors which I liked, from the rear I cut the marked area for the Hitch with a Jigsaw
use a plastic cutting...

$109.- at Bavarian Auto, no problem easy to exchange, only to loosen to nuts, replace arm and done with. Install you find under "How to"...

clunking noise
Had it to, checked everythink, found lose nuts and bolts
on my stabilizer bar, where bushing sit in a bracket, fastened them all with my power ratched, and guess what
clunking is gone.

Have the dealer check with there computer, get a print out then you know for sure what is all wrong with the car, you have to spend a few bucks, mine are out since 2 Years,

of US models, only European or out of the Country Vehicle have Glass faceplates, so you want be abel to change yours like the saudi can, they...
