My rcg is leaking oil and the quote is $300 for a pair of gasket plus 4 hrs labour.
They really ask for too much.

Hi guys, my driver door can't open from the outside. The mechanic quoted me New Zealand dollar $635 (equal US$550) to get it fixed. He said $250 for part and the rest is 3 hrs labour plus 15% tax....

Yeah, I meant labour only too......on top of that workshops do not like people bringing their oil and filter here, as they would earn less. Sounds like it is common in us. You guys are lucky.

aircon regased, New battery, cluster pixel repaired under CPO since ownership from 1-1-2008. Outer cv bushes replaced for less than nz$400 outside CPO.
