Heart EKG Symbol in Nav Screen

Does anybody know what the red heart with the squiggly EKG like symbol on the Nav screen means?

It seems to go away if I turn off traffic data.

I looked in the manual, but I didn't see this...

Actually, this new one works better than the old one on my 2004. In the 2004, you actually moved the stalk up one position.

Next time you wanted them ON, you had to move the stalk down then back...

I believe that it is a suspension thing getting primed. My wife's Cadillac STS makes the same sound. And, yes, it is definitely outside of the cabin.

Many of the sensors that are built into seats actually detect the occupant's weight (hope no-one's sensitive about it).

The weight is used in the calculations for a progressive air-bag deployment....
