93k mi.....ditch or switch?
My independent mechanic is getting desperate, looking for bigger $ jobs every time I see him, which was often to seal up all my 07 oil leaks. Now I have a whiny transmission and I'm facing a valve...

I had to reinstall wheel to back into garage until parts arrive. Bought from the same supplier genuine parts 212 bucks apiece. Free shipping. So, there's really not much to see except the car sitting...

Yanked the hissy side wheel and the bag twisted...
Yanked the hissy side wheel and the bag twisted somehow as the install went fine previously but nevertheless it's twisted and the rotor dust shield sliced the bag like a razor blade. I have no idea...

Squeal at startup which goes away....
Idler pulley or water pump? Best diagnosis method? When I start the car in the AM it squeaks until I drive it a bit. Then it goes away. Mostly annoying, but it's on the list.....

Well, after a flawless first week and long roadtrip, some bad news, on Sun the car AC suddenly got warm, & started to overheat, so I immediately shut it down. Aux fan inactive....
