Yeah I had the same worry, i had a different issue altogether where the entire rear washerfluid just stopped working, after time i guess it just started to work again on its own, but yeah it does...

Nope, nothing changed except I got DSC Light and...

Nope, nothing changed except I got DSC Light and ABS light when i connected and started it again but they both went away as soon as i drove off.... :/

Keep it, Locally it can be rebuilt here in NY for around 2k. besides that TRUST me, if you find yourself a GOOD BMW indy, go over there and get yourself a transmission tune-up, should be fine....
