I'm going to start using 0-40 in winter also, since it seems that these cars are extremely sensitive in the winter, but I have notice that thicker oil is OK in the summer but in the winter especially...

I have a 4.4i and the dealer already found the problem. It is the oil sperator... It cracked and leaked oil on my manifold, which explains my valve covers....Thanks for you help Cleaner....

Hello, small world.. Well its at patrick in Schaumburg. I was told it doesn't let the oil go back into the engine and it puts pressure onto the valve covers so this is why plus the leaking oil goes...

There are valve covers on the right and the left....

There are valve covers on the right and the left. Maybe it could be this Engine Breather Valve that tends to freeze up in frigid temps... Like today!!!!
