I'm going to start using 0-40 in winter also, since it seems that these cars are extremely sensitive in the winter, but I have notice that thicker oil is OK in the summer but in the winter especially...

Hello, let me give you my experience... Change everything, all hoses and oil sep... The reason being is because my dealer changed the hoses last time and this time the oil sep. cracked. Now I'm back...

Well from what the guy said at Patrick I'm leaking a little oil from the valve covers and that they need to be replaced as well, so I assumed that ment new ones? What do you think?

50 tow ins??????? Thats some B.S. I had a 95 Lexus sc400 with 195k miles, never once did I ever have this type of problem. I mean come on, this is BMW, they should build cars with more durability.......

Hello, small world.. Well its at patrick in Schaumburg. I was told it doesn't let the oil go back into the engine and it puts pressure onto the valve covers so this is why plus the leaking oil goes...
