Never seen any on mine either so maybe there aren't any. To be honest I would be a bit surprised to find them on a modern 'soft roader', but I may be wrong. I think with everything being sealed...

I think you will need a brake spanner. This tool is a ring spanner with a slot in the ring which just allows the brake pipe to fit...
