Beaing confident, put the whole enginebay together. Hold your thumbs that i got the timing bit right. Now i need engine oil, coolant and some powersteering oil. Btw is it ok to use bmw ll-04 5w30? 👍😄http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...4fed977e92.jpg

You can use any synthetic oil that meets or exceeds factory specifications. 5-30 is fine.

Ok thx. Btw the car has been in the garage for almost 2 months now, and the rear end of the car has lowered to about half of its usual ride height, do i need to worry about that? 😄

System is sealed so it should not bleed out but I wouldn't do anything about it yet. Once you get it running see if it goes back to normal height. Assuming it does, let it sit overnight and see how much it drops. May not be leaking enough to have to do something right away but do have to address it before the compressor starts running too much of the time. Will have to do some troubleshooting to be sure which component(s) are leaking.

Over night it doesnt drop anything, atleast not when i have driven it. If the air bags should go completely out of air, is there any chance the take damage from that? I have checked the air struts, last summer to see if there was som dry cracks in the rubber, but they looked nice.

Won't be any damage if one blows out as long as you don't drive too many miles before replacing the bag. Would want to pull the compressor fuse so pump doesn't keep running.

Ok, i am not going to drive it now, i will se what happens when i start the car again, but how do i find such a small leak in the system? Sitting for 2 months is quite a long time, if it had happened over night it would have been easier to find the leak. And as i wrote earlier, past summer when driven almost every day, i havent had a single problem with the air ride

One way is a soapy water solution. Air leaking will cause bubbles that are visible. I would start with air bags, then air lines. If you don't find the leak next stop is the compressor where seals can fail. Another way is to wait until the leak get worse so it is easier to find.

I wait for the leak to get worse, think it will be easier.

Started the car today. It sounds real smooth! But i have 2 setbacks, 1: check engine light is not lit, but i wanted to check if there was any codes stored. It throws code 22 inlet camshaft control, what does that mean? Timing of the vanos? Setback 2: there was a small dripping coolant leak around the waterpump, no problem i thought ill just tighten the bolts a bit further. One of those long bolts that goes thru the lower case snapped 😩😩 what should i do? I am not eager to strip everything down again. I need a big hug right now 😔http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...d83cec376a.jpg
