36? I forget, it's huge. 16 point. It almost looks like your half shaft is sliding in and out. Are you sure your CV boot is not empty?

CV boot looks solid, no cracks in the rubber, etc
Will check the nut and report back.

Ok guys, depressurized the bags, jacked the car up, and here's the insane wheel play at 6 and 12 o'clock . How did I drive it like this ? By the way, that wheel has way more negative camber than the right.
So what do you think now? Is that ball joint ? Wheel bearing?
At 3 and 9 o'clock position it still has a few mm of play but the 6 and 12 o'clock position is stupid loose like you see in the video. Scary for sure...

Looks like the bearing has come loose from the knuckle. There's four large bolts holding the bearing to the rear knuckle, accessed from behind the knuckle.

Wow...

These...

Hmm, how could that have happened? Are you saying the 4 large bolts might be loose ? I don't know...I'll have to dig more into this.

Appears to me that the swing arm bushings are toast. It is likely that the rest of the suspension components are also worn out. Likely time for a suspension rebuild. If the bushings are that far gone driving it will destroy the swing arm.

I can't see any suspension component movement (bushes, joints etc.) in your second video, so I can only guess that either the wheel bearing has totally collapsed or the bearing mount bolts are loose - nothing else would produce the movement you see in your videos. :dunno:

And you'd know if the wheel bearing had collapsed... we wouldn't be having this discussion! ;)

It'll sure be interesting to find out what this - watching with interest!

I was thinking that too but in the video clips the axle movement is independent of the knuckle movement and I can't see how any worn suspension components could allow for this independent axle movement. :dunno:

Video it from this angle: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fcLVkFEcrAY

I agree the only movement I see it's inside the cv axle boot, now to be honest I'm not sure if that's even normal, I kinda never kept cars long enough to tackle suspension components like this. But this X is an exception. But looking at it from different angles I don't see any other movement except in the axle.
I also noticed the rotor moves with the wheel, not sure if that detail says anything , but when I move the wheel up and down and side to side, the rotor follows it.
I might sound like such a beginner but it is what it is, I have minimal experience with suspension parts.
