Can you confirm that you press the lock button on your remote with windows sunroof open and it closes them all? or do you hold the button to accomplish this.

or did I misread entirely.

pointers on how to understand the many options shown in your picture, is there a manual somewhere?
thanx.

49 pages and I haven't seen this yet: You can stop the annoying key chime with the door open by removing the key and then reinserting it. My M roadster does the same thing.

So! To prove to some of my E53 (US version) mates that the option of closing and opening the windows and sunroof through remote key is possible, I took a video this morning before I left to work and posted it on YouTube. Click on the link below.

I did the same programming on my friend M3 Convertible, and now he can close/open the windows and/or the top with his keys from a far distance.

Because, I got it cheap on eBay, it didn't come with a manual, but it is very self-intuitive. I am one of those guys who never read manuals.

I have BMW Scanner 1.4.0 software as well. Which option do you select for windows to roll up as well from the key. Please share... And your Youtube link is not working....

I selected all options under "Selective Central Locking" since I didn't know which key I was using. Only "Mechanical Lock" was selected. "Mechanical Lock" means you can insert your key in the driver door lock, turn it right and hold. It will lock the vehicle, the windows, and sunroof.

Also select all options under Convenient opening/locking.

I will post a screenprint of my coding when I get home.

The youtube link should be working.

Great !! I'll do the same, as suggested, and let you all know if it worked for me too. It should....
