Haven't done shit to it because of this cold weather in NYC. Need to purchase new tires since my Contis DWS are shot after 45k miles (not bad). Thinking of going Toyo Proxes ST2's though. Need to detail the shit out of it also. Need to replace rear bumper shocks and reinforcement bar due a asshole hitting me in the back my shit dips a bit from the left. Got a whining noise coming from engine compartment, but only on cold starts and once warmed up its gone. So yeah got a laundry list of shit to do, but it's gonna wait (except for that whining noise. gotta diagnose that before the shit leaves me stranded in the hills of Armonk)

1- Replaced both engine hood actuators; don't need a stick anymore
2- Replaced right hand shock absorber and it's upper base; clicking sound when road bumps gone
3- Replaced both steering control arms; grinding noise when turning gone
4- Replaced both foglamps; they were yellow and ugly
5- Had both headlights polished; had some scratches and discolor.
6- Removed windshield inner protection film (3M), blurry lights in night gone.

Anything time you own an X5, words become records. Glad you're keeping tabs though

Mahagoni Metallic (436)! Dude...why are you holding out on us with a pic? That's a rare color...at least here in the USA...you've gotta add an image to your signature or at least post a pic so we can see what this color looks like. :D

Drove it 2,000 miles this weekend with five on board and luggage packed to the roof. That brings me up to about 6,000 miles this month. Drove in an ice storm on Friday; the entire car was covered in 1" of ice. Performed flawlessly. Only complaint was the 16.5mpg with a packed car, (we were not exactly sticking to the posted speed limits).

Sharpie, this is the 3rd BMW i owned that I have done this too, paint is too think and wont let light through. I like the look of the sharpie better than paint.
