Changed the trans fluid and filter, t-case fluid and spark plugs. I am right at 100k and the fluids def needed it but stuff in pan and on magnets looked good, no excessive metal or anything.

Hi guys, after lurking on here I decided to flush my auto tranny twice then replaced the filter. Car is now on 125,000 miles
One of my rear calipers was seizing up, so I cleaned it and replaced the seal and dust cover.

My X5 3.0d had a replacement front sub frame last MoT inspection.
I hope for plenty of trouble free miles now.

Spent about 3 hours peeling the plastidip off the titanium grills I got from Cisc0 lol... so worth it though. Put them in and it looks great

hahah... yesterday I plastidipped my grills and hood vents. I do not like chrome and it looks pretty good against the grey.

I hope you mean drain and refill. You would do more harm than good if you really flush the auto tranny. Many horror stories from E39 owners.

Polished the X5 and replaced styling 168 for the 22" Breytons.

Kawa, what promted the switch to 168's? Those 22's you had previously on your truck looked incredible on it!

KawaBmw7 03-07-2013 11:30 AM

The X is with the 22" very nervous. This winter I drove the X with 18" en that was so much more comfortable that I decided to buy a set of styling 168.
In the rear I had with the 22" spacers, 2 centimeter. Those are still on and the car is still a little bit nervous.

I must say, the tires are worn and the car needs to be aligned but drives much better now.
