I'm assuming you are replacing the ball joints as well, and not reusing?
If you removed the retaining bolts #14 and #16 (which are E14 reverse Torx not T50) then I would get a nice sized mini sledge, or larger BFH, and be the God of Thunder and hammer it out. If not reusing then destroy. PB blaster obviously on the whole area prior as well, I'm sure it's rusted on there good. |
Since you're replacing the ball joint try turning it with a pipe wrench to help loosen it from the knuckle. The top of the ball joint assembly is accessible along the bottom edge of the knuckle where WD-40 can be liberally sprayed also.

Better still, spray them with PB Blaster. The stuff works much better then WD-40.

Replaced supercharger belt. ALSO, and kind of a BIG deal to me, shimmed out the tensioner pulley with a couple washers behind the inner race of the bearing. Dinan had a washer there but was incorrect width. Belt alignment is finally perfect.

Here we go again…Expansion tank
1 Attachment(s)
I get the Check Coolant warning and open the cap and no float or coolant. I mean the float is gone no where to be seen. What happened to the float? How come the coolant tank is unable to handle the pressure? Two ECS tanks and both didn't make it a year.

My float disappeared after I had my alternator replaced. I PM'd replacing the tank.

Someone can correct me here but I recall that no speedo is a sign that rear wheel sensor is not working.
<Now I have no speedo |
