^^Crystal - at 10 years of age, approx 110k miles, you can bet your bulbs are less than half their original brightness - you will see much improvement with a new set of OEM bulbs, and even better improvement with a set of Nightbreakers

Thanks for the link guys. To those that have ordered from powerbulbs.com, how long was the shipping time with standard shipping?

Repaired coolant leak behind engine block facing transmission bell housing. Ah a coolant leak free E53 4.6is!!!

Repaired my delaminating hood badge with Rain-X resin (windscreen repair). This stuff is good for small chips on your glass and other locations where crystal clear resin can be applied - delaminating badges, cracks and chips on the faux wood interior parts etc.

Recently got a couple of columns of missing pixels in my MID, so I guess that's going to be a task for the near future, along with front control arm bushes. :(

Beautiful GSD, blackbeast.

I drove my freshly washed X5 out in the rain. :( Had to run an errand and it just started to rain as I pulled out of the garage. Love the solid feel the X5 has in the rain. Never have to worry about getting it sideways (Vegas streets are very slick when wet -- M3's would have been spinning the rear tires...).

Got it an early birthday present for the '01 X5 of a set of style 210 wheels. I previously had my style 300's from my X6M on it and they looked amazing, however those are some heavy wheels and tires (RFT's) for the e53. Now to need to get some tires!

I'm in western Canada and I get them in less than 2 weeks. I should be getting my second order any day now.

Belts and tensioners, AND alternator (because I am dumb and broke the housing). Apparently when I did my OFHG a few months ago, when I put the alternator back on, I missed the hole in the back on the lower part of the housing. So for the last 5,000 or so miles, it had been sitting cockeyed in there. I tried to push the nut back flush and the mounting point on the bottom rear snapped off.

Snaked my dash cam wire down the a pillar into glove box, into center console, into rear charger port. Was sort of lucky I had enough wire.

Need to change rear brakes, as check brake lining lit up.
