Anyone else messed with PA Soft/BWM Scanner 1.4? Wondering what else I am missing.

Saw a post about adjusting the temp gauge to be more accurate. Need to dig into that how-to...have been paranoid lately after some issues with my coolant expansion tank. It looked a bit more complicated then the DRL check box on/off.

Yea that's the one I had stumbled across while looking at this head unit install guide. Going to try that tomorrow.

Make a note (screen grab or pen and paper) of the original settings in case you need to go back to factory for some reason... ;)

I am challenging what you are saying. There is nothing from BMW that confirms the M division had anything to do with the 4.6 or graced the vehicle. Only thing I have found is the M division didn't want anything to do with a SUV. At the time they thought an X5 M would be detrimental to their strategy. Alpina was not involved in the engine design though the BMW design was based on the engine in the B10 Alpina.

Well I only have one thing to say to you, bcredliner:

Check out my brand new awesome "M" inspired radiator grille!

Next stop, carbon fiber trims!!

Just installed modified Nav software with the M logo and accept screen bypass. Simple and easy.
