What did you have before. I may be interested in the center console and the driver's door trim.

Bought cheap Aux adaptor that is plug and play with the mk4 nav, basically like the BMW kit but half the price and no aux mounting plate.

Which was perfect for me as this is what I wanted to do anyways:

Ever think about adding a bluetooth device for wireless functionality? I did it in my X5 and love it. Connects automatically!

OEM Aux Kit for Navigation
Firefly Bluetooth
Dual Port Charger

How is this done.
Do I need a BMW Bluetooth module, or is there some simple way to do it with an aftermarket setup.

Is it possible to have aux and bluetooth?

Just aux. The bluetooth device utilizes the aux source.

Your 4.8is didn't come with the bluetooth module?

It does, but bluetooth only works for phone. A2D2 or something

Hence why you need the little bluetooth device that plugs into the aux port.

I'll take a pic

Topic of this thread is what did you do to /for your E53 today?

That means completed projects. It is not intended for chit chat. If you have questions that are off topic use the PM option. There are numerous threads about updated nav/radio, bluetooth, USB, Aux. They are easy to find with the search feature. There is a DIY section where there are threads of most anything you would ever want to do to your X5.

When will you guys stop being disrespectful to members by misuse of this thread?
