Noise! The sweet, sweet sound of a V8 finally unfettered by the center resonators. Not many BMWs sound like these when they're unmuffled- even if just partly.

Sweet. Wondering what the Dinan Exhaust actually is on the X5 I just bought. Ships tomorrow, so I havent seen it yet. I suspect the baffles have been removed from the mufflers like on my E38.

What else is done to your exhaust.
Just the x pipe. Any sound clips?

Had just straight pipes before, everything else is stock.

It reduced the volume to about 50% quieter and a cleaner sound.

Will get sound clips soon, way to windy right now.

The Dinan exhaust is a bespoke axle back system, not just modified stock mufflers.

Which X5 did you end up buying? I know the two of us were shopping at the same time. I ended up buying Schwaggen's car.
