Very handy, haven't done much on the X5 except for an oil change, but I've done just about everything on other cars, including fluid changes and brake / clutch bleeding. CDV delete is something I've always planned to do anyway, but haven't had the opportunity to. Next month I am finally getting into a place with a nice garage...I'm not sure if the brake fluid is due to be changed, as it had new pads put on right before I bought it and it could have been done, but I'm doing it anyway, along with tranny and diff fluids. Better safe than sorry!

Thanks Riggo! I'm very pleased with it, totally transforms the interior to a much sportier tone. Took me almost a year to find a good shape used set at a good price so I do like to show it off when I can lol!

Piano Black trim ain't too shabby either. ;) I'm amazed at how much different the interiors on X5s with "wood" trim look after becoming accustomed to mine.

If I ever get another X5 and it comes with wood trim, I'd be searching for a set in Piano Black, or maybe using some 3M film to wrap it. The CF print is a bit too much, but I think the gloss black and brushed aluminum would look good in most interiors.

I'll keep my woody, for now ;)

Dave I never saw your interior but it's gorgeous! I LOVE the matching lower black steering wheel trim! Might have to get a matching silver trim for my lower wheel now :)

Anyone have graphite trim (2004-2006) or dark smoked grey wood trim? Love to see some photos of them.

Junger, here is a pic I found on the net

The smoked grey wood (if that is what you're talking about) is not only SUPER RARE but SUPER EXPENSIVE, I've only seen new sets for sale for about 1k.

Thanks RB for the photo. I don't think the graphite trim goes well with the tan interior. But in black, that would look sharp.

I have seen smoked grey wood trim on 2006 4.8is with black interior a while back and it looked amazing. I haven't seen another since then. I would love to find a set on EBAY or Germany EBAY... :D

I have black interior. I was referring to the photo. :)

Thanks RB for the link. $1800 for the trims are more than I'm willing to spend but they would look nice in my X. ;) Maybe, if lucky, I can find a set used...
