You bought them directly from BMW?

They are going to mount my wheels and balance them as well. The alignment I'll do at a different shop.

I'll post before and after pics.

Yup... Called it in and picked it up... But asked for discounts like 10-20% for customers. You may get it n save couple dollars.. N you'll need alignment after n maybe balancing.. But do the alignment first... Then if youfell something then do balancing,

We only make spacers up to 20mm. Any larger than that and you'll want an H&R DRA series spacer on the X5. Most guys want to run either a 25mm or 30mm spacer out back on the X5.

HERE is a link to the H&R 25mm for your X5.

One questions,

Can I get the alignment done done with my 18" rims ad old tires first at a different shop and afterwards take my X5 to the dealer and let them put on the spacers an my new, rims, and tires. Because I ordered my rims directly through the dealer and they are siting at the parts department.

You can align B4. Rims tires and spacers do not change the alignment.

Be sure to lightly apply anti-seize grease on hubs to prevent corrosion and make future removal a bit less of a headache.

+1. I do this every 5k miles during tire rotation on all my vehicles, light spray lube (JigALoo) on bolt threads. Good time to apply rubber dressing/conditioner to airbags (prevents drying/cracking).

I just talked to BMW dealer and asked f they sold spacers, so I wouldn't have to wait for the shipping of the H&R to arrive. They told me they wouldn't recommend spacers because it is not safe. Should I be concerned?

Does the 4.8is have spacers, with it's arches?
