I think you're letting one person drive this decision. I'd recommend ignoring that person and working with those of us still interested in assisting you to resolve the problem.

I think one of the drawbacks of a forum is that it is not possible to know the quality of the input. As you have seen, another is that opinions too often and too soon begin as, or quickly become, firm declarations of solutions rather input of how to pinpoint the problem by troubleshooting or diagnosis. I try not to do so but I am not excluding myself.

As they say opinions are like a--holes, and some come from a--holes. I'm not sure that is correct but it goes something like that.

If you took a Brand new fuel filter /regulator and blew through the supply feed, you can easily blow through the filter and air will come out from the other end of the filter, however if you try blowing through the return side of the filter you will not be able to blow any air to the other side of the filter.

If the lines were connected in reverse this will add an extra strain on the fuel pump and mostly likely will cause them to fail prematurely.

In most likelyhood Adrian connected the lines in reverse and this is the cause of his problem.

I would say you have dug yourself a hole you can't get out of on this one. I can suggest a good movie to go with your popcorn.

i am glad you found a solution... and... since the search party was rather large (look at the people trying to help, and the count of views), i am sure we are all eager to know what the solution was... and upallnight is a good guy, he just was up all night... lol...

Sorry, I forgot to mention, I updated the original comment (#1) to show the issue and it's fix (or needed fix)

so, it was the fuel issue all along and the issue was in the non-moving part... odds of that are highly rare and i am glad you found the problem!!! did you find it, or the appointment with the mechanic helped out?
