Interesting. Perhaps this is an indication there's a problem with an air / vacuum leak? I don't want to derail your current troubleshooting effort on the fuel system (as the video showing the low pressure reading at the fuel rail is interesting) but I would think you wouldn't see a change in behavior between having the MAF connected or disconnected. Or maybe I'm misunderstanding your description of the behavior.

Fair enough. Have you been able to measure the pressure at the fuel rail again with a fully charged battery? My apologies if I'm asking questions addressed in your latest videos.

If you haven't disconnected one of the temp sensors, then your focus is on the wrong stuff.
your temp in the video posted is ALWAYS in blue. And the vid is about 3 minutes long. My M54b30 engine has the temp dial a looong time in the middle after driving that long under those ambient temps.
There might be a combination of things: a bad temp sensor, and I think it's the dual temp sensor located on the engine - in the back, and after your long post with the scan - something fishy with the O2 sensors. But this might be due to a hot engine, which reports cold temps.

It connects to the top of the intake boot. The small vacuum F pipe.

:iagree: it is a good time to have a qualified BMW tech, up close and personal, a fresh set of eyes, weigh in. Realizing it would take more time/$$$, consider, if you are not, not telling the tech what you have done to attempt to correct the problem and let him start from just the symptoms so the troubleshooting is from base 1.

Yes...I just need someone to take a look at it and give me their diagnosis. IF they say fuel pump and/or fuel filter, I think I can confidently tell them that it probably isn't the case, since they are both BRAND new.
