My '08 lease expires next Nov and I'm trying to decide if I should extend a year. If they would only improve the 'tronics (Idrive) and have a normally aspirated twin turbo.......I'd be happy as a clam!:excited::excited:

Well, the 2010MY vehicles already have an updated iDrive system that is faster than the old one.

But a normally aspirated twin turbo? Now that's an oxymoron.

My bad......non-diesel turbo 6.

Robert, if you haven't already, check out the entire thread (maybe go backwards through the pages). There are a lot of spy pics.

And it looks like the turbo petrol will be coming next year (see previous page).

Hey LeMans X5, why no mention of the LCI E70 in BMW's Detroit Press Release?

Usually they don't officially list such releases. On the other hand the fact that its almost month end and BMW still has not done a press release on LCI X5 makes me wonder if they had a last minute change of mind. If they did, the debut will move to NY auto show. I will ping the guys and find out.

It appears that BMW has more than just one change of mind as far as LCI X5 is concerned. These days BMW changes mind more than once a day based on market pulse .:banghead:

Delays in when it comes out and what engine/s it gets. Tri-turbo diesel is iffy.
