As for some of the comments from others, you were correct to not mount behind the grill as that reduces performance. Also, the LPP is a good unit but the LI has performed similarly especially in light of some who believe the LPP's tested lately were prototypes, and lately the LI rep (at least in the US) has been more reliable.

Good luck.

LPP?? LI?? Obviously I'm new to this! What's the best jammer to get and where can I find some more info on it? I'm sure there are several manufacturers out there. The V1 seems to be the best radar detector out there and I already have it, (just need to hardwire it,) but what is it's equivalent in a jammer? Surely those things can't cost $3000! Are we talking about pesos? Thx.

See the Guys of Lidar, www.guysoflidar.com They seem to be the most "unbiased" of all the testers, tho some take shots at them as well. Also review radar roy and between those 2 u will see others mentioned. As a caution, the 2 big issues are diode vs LED and then the reliability of the manufacturer from whom you buy. I will tell I had the Blinder (LED) and LI (DIODE) and have been happy with both products. The LI is superior however. The 2 reps, Leon and Cliff respectivly are top notch, some of the other manufactures' I dont trust.

Just do some research on the various forums.

Good luck.

You mounted it correctly. It must be unobstructed. behind the grill would severely diminish performance. LI is the way to go just look at the results consistently JTG.

V1 or 9500ix is the top of line Detectors... There are no better.

A laser jammer(FDA light) is an entirely new creature.. Radar jammers(RF) will get you jail time here in the US.

For the best hands down laser unit... The one I have personally seen work flawless....Jam to the gun type of power.. The LPP is it. Radar Detectors & Laser Pro Park Support Forum - KMPH.ca • Index page

All I know is they took it from under the driver seat to the left of the car then to the rear. When are you panning on getting it?

Also, do you have a radar jammer because that next on my list.

No I do not have a radar jammer. they are illegal almost everywhere. There is only one that I am aware of that works, but will cost a lot of dough. Most claim to jam radar but can't prove it.

You mind saying which radar jammer you are talking about? I am considering one if they are stealth.

From what I heard before buying it, LI is the best and nothing competes. I still have to test my LI, but lets hope it works.
Also, like AVATT had mentioned, the customer service of LI is outstanding. Give Cliff a call and he will help you through any questions or problems you encounter.

I know, it's your preference..

:dunno:
I didn't know it was upside down. I'm to lazy to switch it around so its fine the way it is. How do you know the LED goes at the top? In your install you had mentioned something similar to "notice how I did it so the LED is at the top".

What do you think of this? Its a Radar/Laser scrambler. Im guessing it is something similar to a jammer. They have just the scrambler, or a combo unit with the detector built in. Its pretty cheap to, only $180.

Seriously... they are no good. Put that $180 to use, buy ANYTHING else.
