L, i read this post yesterday and guess what, i havent booked my flight yet... :yikes::yikes::yikes: so i went online this afternoon, and found out that im late by just one day for an almost free plane tickets, now i have to pay $75/person (redemption fee) for "reward tickets" booked 4-20 days before the flight..

oh well, there goes another $150.... should have reserved my tickets earlier.....

I think I'm getting old; a fair number of the time, I just want a luxury cruiser that soaks up bumps and is driven slowly. A BMW just isn't a car that I can really relax in nor drive slowly. But that's a topic for another thread another day.

What airline are you flying? The flights were ridiculous on a one way basis. I booked Continental on a round trip with a week in between arrival and departure for $235. One way they wanted over $1000 per person.

BMW said not to book the flight until 3 weeks before due to possible production or weather delays. I didn't want to wait, so I booked as soon as production was completed.

My wife is a petrolhead - it makes life sooooo much easier!

This thread is helping me pass the time. I'm more excited than I've ever been waiting for a new car to be delivered. Not sure if it's the PCD experience or the ride itself. I've wanted the X6 from the first minute I saw it at the market survey thing I participated in.

My goofy friend Tina is coming with me. She already thinks I'm sick. Just wait until I tell her she has to play Joe Photographer so I have pics for all my BMW buddies. She will never let me live down not being able to decide between Jet Black and Black Sapphire Metallic. Non car people just don't get it.
