My 2005 X5 Aftermarket Radio Install Thread

Well good news and bad news and your not going to believe this because I wouldn't news.

Good news is they think the bleeding was actually the bruising from the wreck. I still cant wrap my head completely around that but the doctors says they don't think she has any internal bleeding at the moment and that the low blood pressure was from shock.

Bad news/hard to believe. My son in law just had a wreck headed to the hospital to see his wife/my daughter. Totaled out his car and as I type this he is still trapped inside the car. He is fine and all just crushed in the doors so they cant open them. They are supposed to be prying the doors off shortly to get him out. He is talking to the insurance company right now when I called last. He lost his leg last year in an accident at work so he cant climb out easily so they are just waiting to remove the door.

I WILL post pics of this stuff as I wouldn't believe it if someone was posting this.

You can see what looks like a dirt road almost on the right side of the pic. That's where she left the highway with the brakes on. Then it rolled.

Wife took those pics as the wrecker was pulling it up the bank.

Thanks I feel so sorry for them. Were giving my daughter our excursion now to replace her truck. Son in law luckily has full coverage insurance on his car as it was a new car. So at least that one will be replaced for him.

Well son in law update he didn't even have a scratch on him. Also the airbags didn't deploy but it didn't need them I guess. Figured any kind of front end hit was auto deploy for airbags.

Daughter is doing good. Just super sore and painful to move. I never really thought about it but with broken ribs there isn't anything they can do beside make you comfortable and wait for them to heal.

She sends her thanks for the prayers sent out for her.

Put a laptop in front of her and let her browse the Excursion forums for modding her new whip. Glad she is doing better and tell her SHE IS part of our family too.

She sleeps so much right now the surfing bug hasn't bit her yet but she will be in internet withdrawal soon enough I imagine.

Thanks again everyone for the best wishes and prayers.

My daughter is doing much better and will be doing rehab this coming week and hopefully will be able to come home the next week. They want her to be able to get out of bed on her own and all before they send her home so a week of rehab.
