Glad it helped

I figured it might come in handy one day. I guess I need to write out what all he says as text in here in case the video vanishes one day. Well I saved the video out to my drive but that doesn't make a great archive here though.

I also saved it to my hard drive. I'm a little skeptical as his X5 is a DSP non-nav vehicle. Theoretically all this means is that I would plug in my remote wire in the back of the vehicle instead of the front like he did... but we'll see. Theoretically always seems to come back and bite me in the @$$.

I waited until the 18th before sending another email to which they responded with a tracking number claiming my order had shipped. That tracking number was inactive & not found until today the 21st. So while it finally appears to be on its way, for whatever reason it took 2 weeks to process my order.
I ordered mine on the 12th of October and got the tracking number on the 18th of October as well. Tracking showed to be delivered for the 23rd of October, but as of midnight it is not here, so most likely tomorrow!

Thanks!

Gonna wait to have the IBUS connection in hand to do the install so I don't have to do it twice.

Also still waiting on your final choice of reverse camera so that I can also purchase that and install it all together at once.

Even though I'm itching just to get this Seicane unit in...

The seicane one wont fit your x5. So definitely don't get the "bmw" seicane one. They have others though.

I got the one I am using right now from amazon. It works I just don't like the angle its at and I don't think the field of view is wide enough for my liking.

I hate to snooze knowing some may be doing installs tonight but Ive been up since the crack of dawn today and had to go tow my sons car home so I'm dead tired. I'll be up in about 5 hours if anyone needs help pm me and I will respond when I get up later tonight.
