One last thing that I have mentioned a few times but needs to be all over this thread. DO NOT buy the seicane factory bmw camera. They have other cameras that could work but the one that shows to be the special factory camera will not fit our e53's.

I have a pile of these cameras from different companies. The only thing I have found they fit are the cars that the tag light goes directly into the trunk lid itself. If it has a shelf that bolts on like the e53 or e46 they will not fit without extensive modification. Ive done it before but to me its just not worth the effort in the matter to do again.

I like this idea, as I've always wanted a setup where I had the option to put a button somewhere and be able to check my rear view on camera on screen at any given moment

Agree. I used the factory PDC to trigger the reverse camera on our Avin 2 in the old E53. Worked great. As long as you were under 35MPH (I think?) you could trigger the reverse cam and the PDC with the factory button. Will be doing my new android setup in the same manner.

A couple of pages ago, someone asked about an Android player.

I've tried a bunch, Rocket Player, Double Twist, to name a couple of the better ones, but I always keep coming back to Poweramp (full version costs a few dollars) and it works quite well.

Clean interface, good features, lots of settings, it's certainly my favourite.

AFAIK all third party players can only do volume adjustments from the steering wheel, not track searching etc, which is a real pain in the ass!

OK, I've installed the IBUS App into my Eonon GA6166 Android head unit and it looks like it's going to be great.

Waiting for my IBUS stick now to complete the install and make the connection to the IBUS. It should be mailing today from Germany.

No, I do not have DSP. I do not know if the latest Eonon is compatible with DSP. I think their latest is the GA8166 and it has 2GB of Ram and Android 7.0, if I remember correctly.

Hey Crowz, Just checked last night and Poweramp when on random, will go back to the previous song and forward to the next, as if they are in a list. Not different random ones each time you press back or forwards.
