Glad it helped !

I just successfully and FINALLY got the factory gps antenna completely connected to the Seicane. I will list the adapters I used and the cable shortly. Only took 3 week and a ton of ordering the wrong stuff

For anyone following this thread that has an iPhone, I tracked down a ZBOX that came last night. In a word it’s amazing, it works flawlessly & the interface between your head unit & your phone are seemless. I did purchase the recommended powered usb hub, but the one I got was defective & wouldn’t power on so I tried it without it & it’s been working perfectly without it. It’s a great way to get CarPlay in your BMW. The ZBOX also works with Android phones.

Working on the install. I have only one long cable that connects to the factory harness and goes up front to unit. I have a short harness that will seat in the connector on the harness going to the front that is a few inches behind the one at the end of the harness. It has that black connector pictured but can't locate a 90 degree male connector. What am I missing?

Mine wasn’t 90 degrees. I think it’s just a harness change.

They may have changed the harnesses around.

Also didn't you get the 9 inch tablet looking model? It probably has different wiring.

So how's the install going?

Haven't worked on it yet today.

Yes, I have the 9 inch version so connections could be different. I also have DSP and to complicate it further I installed aftermarket amp and subwoofer many years ago so I am not sure what changes I made then.

The first picture shows the main cable connected to the vehicle. The white connection and the other large connection are on the main cable that I am not sure what should be connected to them.

The second picture shows the two short independent harnesses. The one on the left has a tag on it that says it is for an E46. The one on the right will connect to the large connector on the main cable but I don't know where the connectors on the other end attach.

The third picture is the reverse camera wires and the other for antenna. Haven't tried to do anything with either yet.

I was looking at the install page on your site, and was wondering if you had pictures of the wiring steps?

I've got the X parked in the garage ready to start this install, just want to know what all I may need before I start.

On the Seicane side, it's all plug and play with all the adapters they have provided, correct?

Any wire tapping needed to be done?

Thanks Crowz!

You need to run one wire from the front to back along with the provided cable. This wire will power up the factory amp. Going thru the steps you will see what to do with it when the time comes

Just make sure you run that single wire to go along with the cable they provide.
