I have a non navigation and DSP X5. I am willing to but all the parts to duplicate your installation. Maybe a a week over in Alabama and we could tag team it. I have been slow to go with this route as I just replaced my MID and TCU but if it helps the family, I'm in!

I got a response from Seicane this morning. They didn't mean the CD player. They meant the original tuner so I have to wire it into the Seicane harness in the rear. I have already removed the wires from the blue plug to wire the IBUS. I have to put them back. Problem is I don't remember in what position they should be. In what slot does the brown wire go? In what slot does the red/green wire go? Also, which wire in the blue connector is the CAN wire?

If the ibus adapter does the job you wont need anything else I would think. I would try it with just the ibus adapter first and the app and see if that makes the amp stay on. If it does you don't need the tuner.

Ok these two pics may help on putting the wires back if you decide to go that route.

The one with the wire colors mentioned is for a different plug but list the colors and of the wires and what they do.

The one with the blue connector is what you have showing the pin numbers.

Do I recall correctly that I need to download the app file and unzip it and then put it on a flash drive to insert in the Seicane?
