Engine ground cable
I just replaced every moving part that holds either front or back wheel in place except shock tower bearings. First time for my car but on wife's e53 her control arms were replaced regularly.
The annoying part was just that the last time I had to replace twice in a row. Literally died after one drive

I think I removed the alternator to gain better access to the OFHG and to clean up the residual area as best as I could. In addition, I replaced the VANOS oil supply line that hangs on the OFH because the line was original and I wanted piece of mind.

i bought the full OFHG kit from fcp euro, it includes all bolts and the oil line mentioned.
