Drivers window won't go down, replaced switch, no change

Great, ok will check it out. Will need to look for some posts on how to expose the wires in the boot near the hinge. I don’t want to have to take too much apart if I can help it. cheers thanks.

So, I posted that my problem went away on another post. My drivers door handle mechanism broke. After taking apart the door and removing the master switch I opened the switch up to see if there had been any water ingress. Nothing to see. I had already swapped my ignition switch before and that was not the problem for the window. Anyway, after putting all the door back I haven’t had a window issue since. cross fingers. Oh, I also found out how to open the door correctly in another post to give the mechanism a long life..cheers
