To the USB Port :-)

I can't say I hear all the communications but I do hear some noise on low volume with engine off.

Exactly what I wanted to hear! Thanks, Spook! Last question: Did you go with the puck or the stick and did you install it on your A pillar like they suggest?

And since you have the same HU, did you have any issues with the streaming shutting off when the Resler interface booted? Specifically, I can't have the IBus app running and use Spotify at the same time(which sucks because I lose all of the IBus functions). I am streaming from an iPhone. Am wondering if the 4G dongle will be the next purchase to solve this issue?

I believe there were issues with 4G dongle they sell not being compatible with US 4G carriers.

I have xtrons PT1853B which is very similar design to yours but with Android 8, Octa core, 4GB ram and 32GB rom. Installed Resler iBus with DSP license, running 6ft antenna adapter and power harness from back of the car.

It runs good most of times, but once in a while, iBus app won't recognize the USB interface and won't connect.

For your issue, loosing Resler when using Spotify, how are you streaming to the headunit? Enable iPhone wifi tethering and headunit connects to the iPhone, and run the Spotify app from headunit?

I was wondering about that dongle. Site says not compatible with North America. Was wondering if that meant the U.S or Canada?

I have the same issue with Resler not connecting on start up. Sometimes it will sometimes it won’t.

I connect and stream via Bluetooth.

I'm pretty sure it's North America, including US and Canada.

Ah... Stream via Bluetooth. Please correct me if below is how you use.
You don't use the Spotify app within the headunit. You use the Bluetooth App that is built-in the headunit (as preinstalled) to play music which streams from the Spotify app running from iPhone.

Nailed it. I haven’t downloaded any apps aside from the Resler app. I’d have to use my hotspot the whole time. That’s why I was looking at the dongle.

Why do you need to use the hotspot? To stream Spotify from iPhone, you don't need hotspot. To use Google Map for navi, you can download the map and use it as offline.

Having said that, looks like the streaming/iBus app issue has nothing to do with Spotify running in iPhone.
Does iBus app start automatically as soon as headunit is booted up after you start the car?

I don’t use hotspot for streaming on phone. I would have to use it to play from HU if I downloaded the app.

IBus does load most of the time but not always.

Did anyone try connecting the factory CD changer to the HU? There is a DIY link on the IBus wiki page.

I activated the control in the IBus app and can hear it change the CD but I get no sound. Was curious why I have no sound if I have control? Weren't all of the controls and signals sent through the loom we connected the HU too?

I'm still having issues with the IBus app not opening on startup. I am not driving the X daily yet so no time to mess with it. Likely going to email the app developer to see if I can get some help. Just noticed the he released a new version yesterday.

^Mine does not open on startup either timmyc. I just manually boot it with the recently used programs function. It's an extra 2 screen presses, but hasn't overly annoyed me yet. Had bigger fish to fry lately so have not messed with getting the Ibus app much after initial setup. Love the app though and always drive with the truck on that screen.

As a side note... I hate that the N62 runs at 204-210F in closed loop.
