Unless he's the guy on X5 World that wrote the outstanding write-up, the seller is a jackass for stealing the photo from the write-up (see the 8th picture in the write-up). Not to mention he's an ass for price-gouging and a 1st class fool since he apparently doesn't realize the drought is over. At least now we know who not to hang out with during the next natural disaster... a sip of water will probably run you $1000.

Don't apologize. It's was a good post. The joke part of my brain needs constant stimulation otherwise it will just age badly like the rest of me.

Weasel will become famous soon enough
Well the guy from the original write up is from Georgia, not Colorado so odds are it isn't him. But if I had to guess, I'd think the seller just googled for hitch pictures and found the best ones on this site (naturally)

Careful, you'll ruin the conspiracy theory!

Just for fun, I googled X5 hitch images. Guess what came up first?

A few weeks back a post on this thread identified a dealer with hitches. When I had called they stated they had just gotten them in and sold there last one... since then I have called numerous dealers and all are stating the same thing... still on national backorder and none in inventory back at the parts depot in Miss... I see a few folks stating they've been able to get them again but I have come up empty handed...
