All I know is all my experiences with Craig Hacker at BMW of Bloomfield have been positive. He's given me great service and great prices.

That's been my experience so far and don't have any problems recommending him.

There will always be cases of unsatisfied customers, that's the nature of the business and life.

On the hitches, it may be a case of them trickling in at some locations only and not a massive supply sent to every dealer.

Okay, I'll get off my soapbox now.

gotta get them hitches while their hot! I'm sure there will be more at some point. I should have bought a couple and price gouged on them, but I am too nice to do that

Finally was able to order one from my dealer today (they showed 11 avail. in BMW parts hub in Jacksonville). Don't have it yet but supposed to be here Thursday (I'm in Tampa).

Very anti-climatic having waiting nearly a year for this thing but at least I'll be on the water hopefully this weekend!

We'll have to compare notes on the install... I plan on installing on Friday. Seems pretty straight forward but time consuming from what I've read on the install instructions...

i got a question is the 15 pin trailer towing module already installed in my truck? i have a 2006 X5 3.0i. or do i have to buy that peice and install it. if i have to install it where does it go? i was just wondering because i have a fuse in the fuse box and it says trailer something im sorry i cant remember. if i do have it all i would need is the 12 pin plug that is pre-ran in my cargo area that the trailer light plugs into.

The trailer tow module has to be installed for the pre-installed 12 pin plug, that accepts the wiring that mounts to the tow bar, to function. You need to parts to make the wiring work, the module and the additional wiring harness that goes down to the tow bar.
