I bet you they know that the engraving machine does it in mirror mode and that their pictures in the website are actually flipped and rotated so it looks correct.

Bottom line is you cannot give in. That is without a question a faulty product. Unless there is some fine print somewhere that discloses this. Any decent enterpreneur will never compromise his credibility for a few dollars. This is how you lose customers. If this went to litigation, there's a strong chance he will lose. Good luck on your X, I mean now "XS".

There is a notable difference between his pics and yours. If he wants to argue that you should have looked at the pics then he is still wrong. In his pics they look correct. He must have good business practices cause he would deffinitly sell them to someone else after u returned them. He's a d*$k and I will not do business with him.

make a claim with paypal and you will win! call the company you bought them from one more time and see what he will do. don't tell the RB seller that you are taking it to paypal, let him find out the hard way

The thing is that i got the impression that the RB was not new when i got them either..

The up part looked good, except for the logo which i did'nt noticed at first, but the underneath had some scratches.. I just noticed it and thought it might be from when they produced the RB. Which it might be, but being a new item it shouldn't be that way..

How will it go if i make a claim with paypal.?

Will they have me send them back to the seller, or will they try and sort it out with them.?

Am i responsible for the shipping.? And of course, if i have to send them back, ill have some ugly holes in the black running boards from the the screws..

Before you take any action, make sure there is no disclosure that says you cannot return the merchandise once you installed it. If there is, then you just got screwed. Next time INSPECT and make sure all meets your satisfaction before you install. Take pictures of defects. Now your at the mercy of the seller if they would even entertain your claim. They got your money...

I had some parts off ebay and paid by paypal.
They were not as described (should have been 12v and item supplied was 24 volt)
After a lot of arguing with seller went to paypal (did not tell seller I was doing this ) and got a refund of £125 on cost of £300.and still kept original part supplied.
If you go this way beware of the time limits involved with claiming.
Regards,
Lez
