Now here we go! xe0s and Tambalong, you've hit the nail right on the head!

ANYONE, a new buyer or a previous buyer, would definitely think twice or three times now before buying anything from a guy who MIGHT send you the wrong item and then leave you stuck with it. He is destroying his business. Simply amazing.

Wayne,
When you satisfy your customers, they not only help you grow by continuing to do business with you, but recommend you to friends and associates. Your company’s most vital asset is its customers. Without them, you would not and could not exist in business.

I see similarities here to those of another company late last year. Um, what was their name, oh yeah Umnitza. For those that weren't around then read this thread:
Umnitza - Projector 53 at http://www.xoutpost.com/x5-e53-forum/...ctor-53-a.html I'd love to be a fly on the wall and see how the sales have gone since then.

Hopefully this guy (company) will realise how important it is to look after your reputation and do the right thing if he wants repeat business from the members here.

They sure do..

After starting the dispute via paypal, wayne is offering me 100us in return..

But still claiming they have done nothing wrong.. Arrogant basxxx he is..

Why is he offering 1/3 of the RB if he has done nothing wrong..

Anyways, was thinking about the no retrun after instalment..? That should not make much difference here.. I do not think he can repair them in any way, and the only reason for him to say they are new is if he is selleing them again..

Im thinking about taking the offer..

What say guys.?

BTW, what is his ebay id.? I havent seen any of his other products..

Depends on what your goal is.

If your goal is to get a full refund or have him send you proper replacements (which according to him they would all be like that anyways so I guess not). Then I would not accept it. Of course, you'll have to spend money to send them back. So, deduct that cost from any refund.

If you're thinking, eh - they're not that bad and I don't want to remove them because now I'll have holes in my door sills, then I would accept the offer. Again, you're gonna spend more money if you have to send them back.

Neither one of those scenarios would make me happy but those are basically your only choices. You have to accept some responsibility for being in the situation you are now - especially since you installed them already.

I think what happened is wherever he sources them from gets them from different mfgrs and/or changed their mfgr process to save money. Thats probably why there's so many different looks. Cloning is rampant in China and also cutting corners to make more profit.

Good luck and hope things work out to your liking.

Agree with TwinsPoppa. It really depends on what you want. But at least they seem to work with you and offer some options. When I had problem with ebay purchase in the past, normally sellers ended up not replying my messages/emails. And best option paypal would give you is to return the product back and get full/partial refund.

It doesn't always work out though. I bought some parts from deutschepartsusa off ebay and they claim it comes with 1 year warranty. But the product failed in just a month. I sent several emails to them but got 0 response. So, I had to file dispute but was told they cannot do anything because warranty should be claimed against manufacturer and I was asked to provide a professional 3rd party opinion to support the claim. That was a total waste.

Hope you can get it solved the way you expect.

That is probably the reason.. Some guy in the shop programmed the cnc machine upside down..

I think im gonna be able to live with it, so i'll guess ill take his offer..

The cost sending back and forth is not worth it, plus its time consuming.

I agree that it all changed when i installed the RB, but i cant see why he wants to be able to sell them as new again..??!?!

That would mean someone else got a faulty product. Therefore is his reason for me not installing them more an excuse he can use. (that even rimes.)

I have worked in a machine shop, and there is no way he can fix the boards as they are now...

Thanks.
